Adding a bit of style and an expanded roster of standard comfort/convenience touches, the 2017 Buick Enclave Sport Touring Edition is making its debut at the New York Auto Show before heading on to showrooms this summer. Offering buyers a choice of three colors -- White Frost Tricoat, Crimson Red Metallic and Ebony Twilight Metallic -- the new Sport Touring Edition will be available on the Enclave Leather and Premium trims.
Exterior changes to the Enclave Sport Touring Edition are subtle and include a Satin Black Ice grille, 20-inch chrome wheels with Satin Black Ice accents and HID headlamps. The cabin is where the real upgrades can be found. All Sport Touring Editions get 8-way power heated front seats with driver memory, a heated wood-rim steering wheel, tri-zone climate control, Buick IntelliLink with color touchscreen radio, 4G LTE connectivity with built-in Wi-Fi hotspot and a 3-month/3GB free trial, rear park assist and rear-vision camera with dynamic guidelines, ice-blue LED ambient lighting, and a power liftgate. Premium-spec versions also add heated/ventilated front seats and a power tilt/telescoping steering column.
The division’s flagship 3-row crossover SUV becomes the fifth Buick model to gain a Sport Touring Edition variant, following successful introductions of similar Sport Touring Edition upgrades on the 2016 LaCrosse, Regal and Verano as well as on the subcompact Encore. Pricing for the 2017 Buick Enclave Sport Touring Edition will be announced closer to its on-sale date.
