The 1969 ZL1 Camaro is a truly amazing vintage car that saw a very limited production run of only 69 automobiles during its production life. Saleen S7 is a handmade, high-performance, limited-production vehicle. It is the only car Saleen ever produced from a new chassis. The original aluminum 427 (cubic inches) engine, a bored-out derivative of Ford’s 351 (same) with a longer stroke, is remarkably flexible for a unit that puts out 550 horsepower. In 2005, Saleen gave the S7 a more powerful twin-turbo engine of 750 horsepower, capable of the top speed of 248 mph and with 0 to 60 mph acceleration time of 2.8 seconds.
