FERRARI 599 GTO

FERRARI 599 GTO

Top Speed: 208 mph
When the Ferrari 599 GTO came out, Ferrari called it “the most extreme sports car” it ever produced. Coming from a company that makes nothing but amazing supercars, that’s saying a lot. The name and design is based on the 599GTB Fiorano. There isn’t much to set the two apart visually, just additional aero elements at the front, aggressive rear air diffusers, and other various airflow management touches that add up to double the high-speed downforce of the “regular” 599. The engine thumping under the hood is a V-12 that produces 661 horsepower and 457 lb-ft of torque. A six-speed automatic transmission delivers power to the wheels. The 599 GTO can reach 60 mph in 3.1 seconds and has a top speed of 208 mph.

The MonoCell chassis is a carbon tube formed in a resin process, which gives the MP4-12C a strong foundation and the side vents in the door aid in stability while looking aggressive.

PORSCHE 911 GT2 RS

PORSCHE 911 GT2 RS

Top Speed: 206 mph
Following in the footsteps of the Porsche 959, the Porsche 911 GT2 RS is a brute of a car. With a twin-turbocharged and intercooled DOHC 24-valve flat six-cylinder engine, and a six-speed manual transmission, the Porsche 911 GT2 RS puts out an insane 620 horsepower and 516 ft-lb of twist. Able to go from zero to sixty in 3.3 seconds, zero to 150 in 14.4 seconds, and with a top speed of 206 mph, the 911 GT2 RS is pretty much a land rocket. The suspension of the 911 GT2 RS is perfectly built, giving the vehicle exceptional stability. This allows the vehicle to rip around corners with little problem, while giving the driver a comfortable ride. With all that speed, Porsche offers an optional roll bar for the 911 GT2 RS, just in case you decide to drive it like a race car and make a mistake.

PORSCHE CARRERA GT

PORSCHE CARRERA GT

Top Speed: 205 mph
Built to be a fast, beautiful car, the Porsche Carrera GT achieves its goal with ease. Under the good is a 5.7 liter V10 engine producing 612 horsepower and 435 lb-ft of torque. The Carrera GT is a mid engine car, with the engine directly behind the vehicle occupants. What was innovative about this car is the way that its engine is placed: with the use of a clutch made of a high-tech ceramic material, it allowed the engine to sit lower in the chassis than in any other supercar. This feature not only makes the Carrera GT a road car with the looks of a race car, but also improves its aerodynamics and lowers its center of gravity. The Carrera GT lacks any electronic driving aids that are usually found in newer cars, in order to give the vehicle a true race car feel. The top speed of the Carrera GT is 205 mph.
