The huge air intakes are the first clue that the RS5 is no average beast, and they are certainly not the last. The meanest version of Audi’s sport coupe now has a twin-turbo V-6 instead of a naturally aspirated V-8. The new engine produces 444 hp, just shy of the outgoing V-8, but torque has increased to 443. On call to help transfer that power to the ground is Audi’s Quattro all-wheel-drive system via an eight-speed automatic. We expect the new RS5 to be as expertly executed as its predecessor.
